I became a mobile DJ whilst working at the Royal Ordnance Factory in Leeds, where I was employed as a mechanical fitter,working on Chieftain Tanks and Fox armoured vehicles, until 1979. After moving to John Smith's Brewery I stopped DJ'ing due to shift commitments. I Worked as a Maintenance fitter for 10 years, then moved into engineering and production management before taking early retirement and moving out to Spain in 2004
