We welcome a new presenter to the station. Rod Oxley will join us on Tuesday 7th September between 3-6 with his new show " A step back in time". With music from the 60s, 70s, 80s the theme will be "Taking you back to special events and bringing back memories through the music." This will be an interactive show so please email in your requests.

We are pleased to announce that Smooth and Can connect are now working in association with Almeria Angels, your number one Nursing and care agency in the Almeria Area. Listen for information on their new Emergency response system-this gives 2 way communication with the Angels call centre, they can either dispatch a nurse to your home or call an ambulance and support you in hospital- For just 45€ a month it gives you total peace of mind. If you live inland then you can always pop in and get information from Mo in Can connect who has some information packs. Listen for news on the first clinic in September where a member of the Angels team will be on hand to demonstrate the care system

Due to popular demand the third Smooth soul night will be on Friday 3rd September.This will be on the outside terrace. These very popular nights will now continue through the Winter in the Function room. This is at the Travellers Inn at Los Marcelinos from 9pm until late. All the very best Soul, tamala motown, Northern soul, 70s disco and 80s dance. Bring your dancing shoes.........
